The Goathead 6" Boning Knife is more than a tool — it’s a link between craftsmanship, respect, and tradition. Built to master the skill of processing game with precision and control, it carries a deeper respect for the animal being harvested and the work that follows the hunt.
The blade is crafted from Nitro-V stainless steel, chosen for its fine grain structure and ability to take a razor-sharp edge. Nitro-V offers excellent toughness, allowing the blade to be hardened higher than traditional boning knives for better edge retention. Despite its hardness, the edge is easy to touch up with a quick pass on a honing rod during processing.
The handle is built from durable G10, hollowed out internally to reduce weight and improve balance in the hand. Its ergonomic shape provides a secure, comfortable grip during extended use. Each handle is fastened with stainless steel hardware and sealed with a semi-permanent marine-grade sealant to prevent moisture from getting behind the scales and creating bacteria.
